Tarek Atoui

Atoui (b. Lebanon 1980) studied sound art and electroacoustic music in France (1998). He was artistic director of the STEIM Studios, Amsterdam (2008). Atoui has presented work internationally at the Sharjah Biennial (UAE 2009, 2013); the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York (2010); Performa 11, New York (2011); dOCUMENTA 13, Kassel (2012); the Serpentine Gallery, London (2012); and the 8th Berlin Biennial (2014); Tate Modern, London; he was co-artistic director of the Bergen Assembly (2016).
