Visible researches, produces and sustains socially engaged artistic projects in a global context. By Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and Fondazione Zegna in partnership.
Visible has been invited last week to share its research trajectories at the 3rd edition of ADAM- Asia Discovers Asia Meeting in Taipei, Taiwan. ADAM, founded in 2017 by the 臺北表演藝術中心 Taipei Performing Arts Center and curated since its beginning by the artist River Lin features parallel to the annual international meeting the collective residency program Artist Lab. This research-based program offers to artists along four weeks to meet, exchange ideas, invent new collaborative possibilities and rethink modes and methods of working with and within communities. Elia Nurvista (2017 Visible shortlisted artist) and Vuth Lyno (2017 Visible curatorial advisory board) were part of this year Artist Lab. For Visible, it was an incredible occasion to explore the social turn in contemporary art in the Asia-pacific region and beyond. Thanks to River for this invitation! https://adam.tpac-taipei.org
