Visible has become, since its very beginning, a repository of knowledge around different ways of understanding the artistic gesture in its social engagement. In order to make this knowledge accessible and usable by as many audiences as possible, we decided to make available a set of tools, that we named public utilities, through which this ‘socially engaged art intelligence’ could be distributed, reproduced, screened, put on display, become workshop material or simply lead art in fields other than the artistic one.
