Trampoline House  was an independent community center in Copenhagen operating between 2010 and 2020 and bringing together refugees, asylum seekers and other residents of Denmark, united by the desire to ensure democratic dialogue and sustainable integration.

The house provided a safe space for social engagement and offers job training, language classes and legal/medical/psychological counseling with the aim to equips refugees with the means to navigate and participate in the Danish society.

In this video, Tone Olaf Nielsen, programme director and co-founder of Trampoline House, is in conversation with Visible curator Carolina Lio about creating sustainable and democratic alternatives to the existing asylum systems.
