Antonia Alampi

Antonia Alampi is the founding artistic director of Spore Initiative, a platform fostering artistic and cultural practices engaged in eco-social justice, community work and knowledge exchange. As a cultural organizer, curator, and director, she worked across disciplines, collaborating with socially engaged, politically aware, and structurally vulnerable organizations. She was artistic co-director of SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin (2016–20), part of the curatorial team of sonsbeek20➜24, and curator at Extra-City Kunsthal, Antwerp (2017–19), and Beirut, Cairo (2012–15). Beyond institutions, she has worked on cultural projects, research, and publications engaging with eco-social initiatives in different localities. She also teaches, writes, and speaks publicly. The mother of two daughters, she credits them with shaping her professional path.
