Piyarat Piyapongwiwat

Piyarat Piyapongwiwat (b.1977) is a multidisciplinary artist. She studied fine arts at Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier Agglomération in France. Her extensive portfolio covers videos, photographs, mixed media and etc.

Her artistic researches have mostly been influenced by contemporary concept theories in the field of anthropology and social science. She has often created artworks concerning contemporary issues, such as gender, margin, culture change and globalisation.
