Undercover Worker

Changing from the manufacturing industry to the service industry, many middle-aged people are forced to accept jobs with low salaries and long working hours. Undercover Worker is an ongoing project in which artist Luke Ching tries to “cross-border” to work in different grassroots jobs to experience the working environments and make first-hand observations. The artist then shares his experiences by contributing essays to local mainstream newspapers. Moreover, he also tries to develop alternative labour campaigns to improve the working environment in different areas.
