Kumbuka!

Kumbuka! (Remember! in Swahili) is a project that aims to create and develop an interactive website, presenting both archive and current images of DRCongo. These images will come from various sources: family albums, private collections and Congolese photographers’ past and current work. The goal of Kumbuka’s project is to open up an opportunity for dialogue. This platform will be a space to report, react and reflect upon the country’s colonial and post-colonial history.
