In 2004, a group of far-right extremists was responsible for a dramatic nail bomb attack on the Turkish community of Keupstraße, in Cologne, Germany. In 2016, collaborating with the local groups, Ulf Aminde developed an idea for an augmented reality Memorial for Migration located at the entrance of Keupstraße. Standing on the location of the terror attack, virtual walls will become visible on a smartphone. The walls are composed of videos interviewing residents on their concrete and personal experiences of racism. They can be downloaded or viewed on site.
